Great location, fantastic view and very hospitable hotel owners.
English is not very much spoken. There was not always hot water in the bathroom- it was rather warm than hot.
-
Good location in a beautiful town. Very accommodating staff.
Rooms and ensuites on the small size.

Tremezzo is not the best place to stay in Como, it's effectively a road side stop not a village. The rooms are noisy and very basic, the shower is terrible and the bathroom is tiny.
-
The staff were lovely, good value b&b, fab location. The rooms were very small and basic but clean. The only fault with the room was it would have been handy to have a table with mirror. Lake view room a must for the amazing view. The food at the restaurant was lovely.
-
The lakeview was beautiful....the full breakfast served to your table was amazing and delicious!

We chose Azalea because of the excellent location and relatively good price. I've been to Lake Como three times and I think Tremezzo, and especially the area around Azalea, is definitely the best area to stay in. Many nice restaurants (El Timon, Cantina Follie...) and shops just around the corner. Ferry dock is withing walking distance. Villa Carlotta is also nearby. "Shuttle train" runs between Lenno-Tremezzo-Menaggio regularly. Our room had a french balcony and a stunning view to the lake! Room was very clean and quite spacious. Staff were really helpful and nice. Hotel has a bar and a nice restaurant with a very cool "panorama" terrace by the lake. Free wlan (works only downstairs) was a huge plus. There is lots of parking space in front of hotel but parking costs 1e/hour (between 9am-7pm).
Room felt a bit unsafe because the door and the lock were very old and in poor shape. Bed was extremely unfomfortable. Rock hard and you could literally feel and hear the springs. Bathroom was very compact. Bumping disco music woke me up 2am. Had to use earplugs the rest of the night. Breakfast was probably the worst I've ever had: white bread, butter, youghurt, juice, tea/coffee, that's all.
-
the food, both breakfast and dinner--all excellent
Bathroom is small, but that comes with the very convenient location and the reasonable price.

Hotel Azalea was extremely cozy and such a great value. The staff was excellent and breakfast that was included was outstanding. Highly recommend this hotel.
-
The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, despite our language barrier. The breakfast that was included with the room price was amazing! Great cappuccinos, yogurt, rolls with jam, sliced breads, eggs cooked to order, meat and cheese slices, fresh juice.... maybe more that I am forgetting. The rooms are nice, nothing spectacular, but very clean.
The restaurant down below our room's window stayed open until the wee hours, and people were having a good time and being very loud, and the windows didn't block the noise at all. It was a Friday night, so maybe quieter on the weekdays.
-
Excellent value for money. Nice restaurant.
Unfortunately, my room overlooked an extremely noisy bar, with loud noise continuing until 4 am. For that reason I cannot recommend the hotel.
-
The staff were very friendly, the location was great near the lake near the ferry points, the restuarant served really great food.
nothing, for a budget hotel this fair exceeded expectations.
-
Very nice little hotel, beautiful location, wonderful breakfast and restaurant.
-
Location to Ferry. Great Breakfast. Lovely staff
NOISE NOISE NOISE. the room has no aircon so you need the windows open, Directly below was a bar that continued til well after midnight and til 0235 on one occasion. Shower was very small but clean.
-
Good location, although on roadside, overlooking the lake.Great views from breakfast room.
Restaraunt very popular and when full, people were being turned away, even residents.Need to book early.
-
Great location and very friendly family run hotel. Rooms 2 star basic but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast 8 til 10 in roadside restaurant or on lakeside terrace, Enough to set you up until dinner. Service very good. Azalea is a hidden gem for those that just want a base. 9/10 for that.
